As an instigation towards creating a community that gathers around the punch bowl this interactive performance utilises the various parts that are integrated within the notion of a punch bowl, from the material to the social, to form a ritual in flux. Mixing home made Dandelion wine with industrial made sodas inflicts questions surrounding the natural and artificial and its effects on the body whilst simultaneously channeling high and low culture. Can a ritual be serious and humoristic at the same time?
